Fryma Koruma MS-50 CoBall Mill - Throughput: 300-1750 liters/hr (300 to 2000 lbs/hr) - 8 liter grinding chamber - Netzsch progressive cavity pump - Rotor, bowl and top of the bowl all jacketed -- 316 stainless steel product contact surfaces - Unit is currently loaded with about 25% bead load - VFD for main drive motor - Siemens PLC with HMI interface - Serial#103501 built 2019 - 3 phase, 60 cycle, 460 volts, 63 KW motor (about 85 HP) - Was producing almond paste. Product entered mill at 80-200um and exited at 2-30um paste. - Machine was used in a Korsher certified parve (non-dairy) facility - The CoBall mill is used for fine milling of suspensions and high-viscosity products. The milling action is created in the gap between the conical working vessel (stator) and a conical rotor. The gap is in the range of 6.5 to 17 mm depending on the model purchased.
